Ramona Animal Shelter

The Ramona Animal Shelter (RAS) began in 1969 to improve the humane treatment of animals.

With the inspiration of our founders and the help of our supporters, RAS found a new home at 690 Humane Way in 1994. The 10-acre site includes a shelter that takes in as many as 600 dogs and 500 cats a month, a low-cost spay and neuter clinic, a barn-yard area for livestock, and a large duck pond that is home to unwanted water fowls as well as migrating visitors.

All this was accomplished through the generosity of our contributors!

Ramona Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit humane society and receives no government funding.
All our humane animal services are made possible by the generosity of our contributors.
